NIFFL Spring Season Updates

Hello NIFFL Fans!
It's almost that time! The 2010 Spring NIFFL Season is gearing up for action. Here are some important updates regarding registration, evaluations and more.

Player Evaluations and Registration
Saturday April 10, 2010 1:30pm - 3:30pm David Park Zion, IL (east of ZBTHS)
During this time parents can complete registration for their players, pay any remaining fees and get information for the upcoming season. Coaches will be on hand leading skill evaluations for players. Evaluations are not mandatory but high recommended as this will help the coaching staff draft the players based on skill level.

Coaches Meeting and Player Draft
Wednesday April 14, 2010 7:00pm location to be announced
Coaches will meet to finalize any necessary paperwork, be briefed on organizational guidelines, and game regulations. Coaches will then participate in the draft to fill their rosters. Players will be contacted by their coach no later than Friday April 16, 2010. Practice times and locations will be set by the coaches. Any questions surrounding practice time, locations, etc should be directed to your Team Mom. Team Moms will be identified during the week of April 18, 2010.

Season Opener
The Spring Season will get underway beginning Sunday April 25, 2010 1:00pm at David Park Zion, IL. All teams will play each week. Schedules will be distributed during the first practices and posted on the NIFFL blog each week.

Parent Meeting
NIYSO will be scheduling parent meetings for all parents/guardians of Flag Football Players and Cheerleaders. Meetings will be scheduled in the coming weeks and dates will be published. We ask that each child have a representative attend at least ONE meeting.
